Hypnotherapy is a safe and natural way of working with the mind to create meaningful change. It uses focused relaxation to quiet everyday thoughts, allowing you to access the part of the mind where habits, beliefs, and emotions are formed - the subconscious. From reducing stress and anxiety, to breaking unwanted habits, to building confidence and resilience—hypnotherapy can support many areas of life. You remain fully in control throughout the process; it’s simply a guided state of awareness that helps you connect with your inner resources.

Hypnotherapy may be a good fit if you’re open to exploring new ways of thinking and feeling. It works best when you have a genuine desire for change, whether that’s releasing old patterns, finding calm, or moving toward personal goals. Every person’s experience is unique, but many clients describe feeling lighter, clearer, and more empowered after sessions. If you’re curious, willing, and ready to take a positive step for yourself, hypnotherapy can be a valuable tool on your journey through life’s inevitable changes.

I’m glad you asked :)
It’s important when choosing a practitioner to know their area of focus — mine is Creative Rehabilitation.
Though we may not all consider ourselves artistic, we are all innately creative. I believe that by exercising our creativity through self-healing, we learn to harness the power of thought, emotion, sensation, and imagination for our own greater good. Creativity and healing are, in my view, inextricable — the symbolic content buried in our subconscious acts as the medium that shapes our reality, a reality we are all creating, for better or for worse.
My role is to companion you through the discovery of your unique creative energy, so you may find confidence in its ability to support your growth and transformation through any of life’s challenges — and more specifically, helping you identify where you are, where you want to be, and gathering the materials to build the bridge between them.

The subconscious mind holds our felt experience — the memories, learned behaviours, and emotional patterns that shape who we are beneath the surface. It influences our automatic responses, from habits and fears to the tone of our inner dialogue and the images that arise in imagination. Unlike the conscious mind, which focuses on logic and daily tasks, the subconscious communicates through symbol and metaphor. It learns and transforms through imagery, story, and emotion rather than reason alone. Always listening, it absorbs information from everything we encounter — words, sensations, and the environments we move through — yet it cannot discern what is a help or hinderance. When we begin to understand and engage with this deeper part of ourselves, we can reshape the narratives that quietly direct our lives and move toward greater coherence, creativity, and ease.

Each session begins with getting to know you — your lived experience, goals, and the kind of support that will feel most helpful. The first one or two sessions are usually devoted to this discovery process, allowing us to create a clear and comfortable foundation for our work together. When we move into hypnotherapy, we’ll collaborate on the suggestions that will be used in hypnosis to support your desired changes, and you’ll be gently guided into a calm, focused state of relaxation. The techniques used during hypnosis vary depending on your needs; you may engage in conversation, explore the root causes of certain patterns, or be guided to visualize and embody new solutions for yourself. When the session comes to a close, you’ll be gradually and gently brought out of hypnosis, and we’ll take time to debrief your experience. You’ll leave with simple practices or reflective questions to continue supporting your integration and growth between sessions.
